This position is located in the Health Information Management Section/Patient Administrative Services.
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain, file, index and scan patient medical records.
-Receive, index, scan and assign appropriate nomenclature to health and administrative information-Sort, scan and index loose health record documents and materials-Perform qualitative review on work-Assures patient care data is entered accurately, timely and is complete-Assists with improved processes and procedures-Maintain a system and structure of paper medical records in using the terminal digit filing system-Processes requests from outside organizations-Identifies, prepares and documents consolidated health records-Confirms records integrity and review the scanned documents for image qualityWork Schedule:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
